AssetIQ supports multiple languages to help users work in their preferred language. You can change the language in AssetIQ from the available language selector or your user settings.
Your selected language should remain active when you move between supported AssetIQ screens and when you sign in again.
Before you begin #
Make sure that:
- You are signed in to an active AssetIQ account.
- Your preferred language is supported by AssetIQ.
- Your browser or mobile application is up to date.
- You have a stable internet connection.
Note: The languages available to you may depend on your organisation’s AssetIQ configuration and the platform you are using.
Change your language on the web #
To change your language in AssetIQ using a web browser:
- Sign in to AssetIQ.
- Locate the language selector or open your user profile menu.
- Select the language or preference option.
- Choose your preferred language from the available list.
- Save your selection if a save action is displayed.
- Allow the page to refresh.
- Confirm that the navigation, headings and supported interface text appear in the selected language.
Your language preference should remain active as you navigate between AssetIQ modules.

Change your language on mobile #
To change the language in the AssetIQ mobile application:
- Open the AssetIQ mobile app.
- Sign in to your account.
- Open the menu, profile or settings area.
- Locate the language option.
- Select your preferred language.
- Save the selection if required.
- Return to the main application screen.
- Confirm that supported interface text appears in the selected language.
The exact location of the language option may differ between the web application, Android app and iPhone app.
Return to the default language #
To return to your previous or default language:
- Open the language selector or user settings.
- Select the required language.
- Save the change if required.
- Refresh the page or restart the mobile app.
- Confirm that the interface is displayed in the selected language.
Some text remains in another language #
Some module names, user-entered information, uploaded files or specialised terms may not change when you select another language.
This can happen because:
- Asset names and descriptions were entered by users.
- Uploaded documents retain their original language.
- Customer-configured master data is not automatically translated.
- A recently introduced feature may not yet have complete translations.
- Browser-cached information has not refreshed.
Changing the interface language does not translate user-entered data or uploaded documents.
The selected language does not remain active #
If AssetIQ returns to another language:
- Confirm that you saved the language selection.
- Refresh the browser page.
- Sign out and sign in again.
- Clear the browser cache if permitted by your organisation.
- Confirm that cookies or application preferences are not being blocked.
- Update or restart the mobile application.
- Contact your AssetIQ administrator if the problem continues.
The language option is unavailable #
If you cannot find the language option:
- Check your profile, application menu and settings area.
- Confirm that you are using a supported AssetIQ platform.
- Ask your administrator whether multiple languages are enabled for your organisation.
- Record the platform and application screen you are using.
- Contact AssetIQ support if the option should be available but is not displayed.
