Getting started with AssetIQ #
If you are new to AssetIQ, we recommend following these steps.
1. Sign in to AssetIQ #
Start by signing in using the account provided by your organisation.
2. Understand the Dashboard #
Become familiar with the AssetIQ Dashboard, navigation menu and the main areas of the application.
3. Set Up Master Data #
Before creating assets, administrators should configure the master data used throughout AssetIQ, such as asset categories, locations and other organisational information.
4. Add Your First Asset #
Once the required master data is available, you can create your first asset record and enter its identification, classification, location and other relevant information.
5. Generate Asset QR Codes #
Generate QR codes for your assets to support physical identification and quick access to asset information.
For administrators #
If you are responsible for setting up AssetIQ for your organisation, you may also need to complete the following tasks.
Invite users and assign roles #
Add users to AssetIQ and assign the appropriate roles and permissions for their responsibilities.

Import existing assets #
If your organisation already maintains an asset register, you can use the AssetIQ import function to add multiple assets instead of creating each asset individually.
